Initium
Initium is a non-profit organization based in Zagreb, Croatia, established with the purpose to promote Web and software startup companies and projects in the region of South-east Europe. The organization's tasks include:
- Joint promotion of local startups on the global market.
- Education of startup entrepreneurs in topics related to economy, business management, fund raising, product development, marketing etc.
- Attracting early-stage investors to the region.
- Connecting local startups to investors both local and worldwide.
- Networking and connecting entrepreneurs with technical, business, marketing and other experts, both regional and global.
Initium also organizes Web.Start, the leading regional conference devoted to starting hi-tech companies.
